WORKSHOP | August 23rd, 7:30pm
Fair play for
new parents
A virtual workshop for new and expecting parents to set you up to manage all the household labor that comes after labor!
Does This sound like you?
You don’t want to fall into patterns or systems that don’t match up with your family values just because they are the cultural default.
You understand that time is the most valuable resource we have - and it’s finite.
You see communicating rather than assuming as the key to a healthy, engaged partnership.
You’re burned out - “doing it all” isn’t sustainable or fun - this is not what you had in mind for parenthood.
You want to reclaim your right to be interesting separate from parenthood, partnership, or your profession.
What is Fair Play?
Fair Play outlines a system for how to divide up household tasks fairly, based on your family’s needs.
Fair Play consists of 4 easy to follow rules, 100 household cards, and a series of conversation starters for you and the people you live and parent with.
Fair play helps prioritize what’s important and who should take the lead on every task - providing a system for communication and getting it all done - from grocery shopping to holiday planning and magic making.

Hi,
I’m
Molly
I'm a licensed clinical social worker, perinatal mental health therapist, and mother of two. I'm the founder of Poppy Therapy, where I support new moms and moms who want to find meaning and courage in the big transitions, decisions, and emotions that come with motherhood.
I became a Fair Play Facilitator because I know that a strong partnership is a firm foundation for a family. I love that Fair Play provides a framework that allows parents to align values, clearly communicate expectations, and create healthy boundaries so that every member of the family can thrive.
Let’s talk faqs
do i need to be pregnant to attend? how much of a “new parent” do i need to be?
No matter where you are along your parenting journey, you are welcome. We're all pretty new at this, aren't we?
Some of the material in this particular workshop will be more geared toward early parenthood (preschool aged kids and babies), but all the concepts are useful for all families.
Do I need to have a partner to attend?
Family comes in many different forms - you do not need to have a partner to attend or to use Fair Play. The system is customizable to whatever your family looks like and includes whomever you live and parent with - grandparents, neighbors, friends, and co-parents.
Do I need to read the book before the workshop?
Nope! It's great if you have, but it's not required. We'll review all the concepts and I'll give ya a crash course. You A+ students can purchase the book here.
What if that time doesn't work for me and I can't attend live?
That's okay! We'll miss you, but you'll get a recording of the workshop delivered straight to your inbox to watch when it's convenient for you and your family.
Will I have to be on camera?
Nope - it's going to be me teaching and training and then you doing some exercises on your own or with your partner. You'll be able to ask questions and participate throughout, but you can totally be in your PJs chillin.
ARE TICKETS REFUNDABLE?
Tickets are non-refundable. If you have a special circumstance, please contact me and we can work something out.
Did I mention the discount?
coaching package
In addition to the group training, workshop attendees receive access to discounted Fair Play coaching packages. More info on THAT at check out.
Life as a parent should be much more than just endless logistics, tasks, and to-do lists, am I right?
That’s where Fair Play comes in.
